After connecting Sirvoy to Airbnb, all new bookings will automatically import, but bookings made before the connection need to be imported manually.

Tip:

  • Finish the importing process as soon as possible to avoid overbookings.
  • This article will teach you how to do it yourself, but our support team would be happy to import your bookings for you.
  • In addition, follow the same steps in this article to convert (or match) Airbnb bookings from the old connection type (iCal) to the new type (REST API).

Before You Start:

Importing Airbnb Bookings

In Integration with Airbnb, click “Import bookings.”

Each booking to be imported will fall into three different categories depending on:

  • If the potential import’s data matches any bookings already in Sirvoy, which could indicate that it’s a duplicate booking and the two should be merged.
  • Unit availability for the potential import’s dates.

With no match, but with availability

There are no potential duplicates of this booking already in Sirvoy and there is availability for the booking’s dates. These will appear in green.

How to handle:

  • Click “Import” to bring it to Sirvoy as a new booking.

With possible matches

There is a potential duplicate of this booking already in Sirvoy. These will appear in orange.

How to handle:

  • If the two bookings have an identical Airbnb booking ID, they are duplicates of the same booking. Click “Match” to convert them.
  • If the two bookings don’t share an identical Airbnb booking ID, but you confirm using other information that they are duplicates, click “Match” to convert them.
  • If you confirm that the two bookings are distinct from one another, click the “Import” button to bring the Airbnb booking to Sirvoy as a new, separate booking.

With no match and no availability

There are no potential duplicates of this booking already in Sirvoy and there is no availability for the booking’s Room Type and dates. These will appear in red.

How to handle:

  • Click “Import as Overbooking” to bring it to Sirvoy as a new booking.
  • As with all overbookings, you will need to resolve it by assigning an available unit–either before or after importing it.
